Do people even use it really?

If anything it's being more relied upon in the Tablet sector as apps and site gear content towards them using the HTML5/CSS3 combo - neither of which have been finalised.

With the iPad 2, Android tablets and the Playbook (lol) the push for its usage is growing fast, and in some cases (Google, for example) makers of web applications want to rely upon these technologies and Zinga is right in saying it shouldn't be used as it hasn't been finalized but the demand for richer web-based applications is growing very quick, and HTML5/CSS3's finalization still hasn't come about.

Reminds me if Wi-Fi N really - the hardware for the standard was being manufactured before the standard (802.11n) was even finalized. Too slow to keep up with consumer demand.
