A picture is worth a thousand words so a video can surely be worth a million, but sometimes I just want my fucking information right here in my face, so I can skim through it and figure out what the hell I'm doing.

Sometimes things are complex and require thorough explanation but I generally find that I'm not a fucking 4 year old and can figure out what I'm doing from a few lines of text containing an explanation.

I think my hate for video tutorials spawns from my impatience as well as my inability to seek through a video and gather the same amount of information I could from skimming through text. It comes to the point where your simple text explanation was far more efficient than your full length retarded video.

Sometimes videos are nice, but I swear when I'm trying to figure out how to do something simple and all I want is a written explanation, nothing pisses me off more than when I can only find video tutorials on the topic.
