Everything is dependent on how you wish to view it.  For example:

Fact: with the rapid growth of the Chinese and Indian economies, Asia is increasingly becoming more dominant.
Fact: where one goes, the rest is sure to follow.
Expect Western society to be more influenced by Asian values in the next ~50 years.  Being a Proper British may include a number of Asian values in the future.
