Evidently, my first name guess was just about right as ANN is reporting it's getting a mobile phone anime!

Tamachi (also written as Tamati) released the manga under the dōjin (self-published) circle name Rui-Tomo at the Comic Market 77 event in December of 2009. The title character Gokicha is a cockroach (gokiburi in Japanese) who came to the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido from Tokyo's Kanto area to look for a human friend.

The first dōjinshi manga about Gokicha was titled "!!," and the second volume, "!!!," shipped at Comic Market 78 last August. Nerd-Goods.com already sells a t-shirt based on the character.

According to the advertising for the mobile phone anime, Mamiko Noto will voice Gokicha and Rie Kugimiya will voice her friend Chaba.
