Believe me, i'd be able to live with my pencils, papers, and textbooks; but there are reasons to why i buy more monitors or better computers; it makes life easier and i think the ipad would be a worthy addition is all.

I don't need to upgrade anything in my setup, rather, i need to bring some new stuff in.

You just sound like you really REALLY hate apple; i just get whatever i see that is useful and promising.

I love tech, not microsoft or apple.
