I was born with Major Depression. Try to keep your loved ones close. Don't push them away. They'll help you through this.  

I don't know how well certain antidepressants work with clinical depression, but for the most part, it is usually safe because it is helping with a natural process in your body.  If you do get prescribed anything, do your own research, as well as see any help you can before choosing to do so. Stay in there!
