Well, I am constantly around people who are either a) computer-savvy, or b) trend followers (i.e, teens to late twenties). From my personal experience, I don't actually interact all that much with people over the age of 30 (for the most part), and I'd suspect that a huge number of floppy users these days are most likely in that age bracket...

I'd wonder about possible polls to get a better idea, but those who use floppies at home probably aren't the type to come across such a poll, let alone participate. I also wonder if it is used for menial tasks at businesses, such as to keep up with weekly costs, or something else that wouldn't warrant a 1gb thumbdrive. Or for that matter, they might file them away. Who knows?
