new lcds are like 20 bucks and are easy as hell to install, id say worth it.

by the way does your analog stick? is that why you were trying to fix it?
if so its most likely the spring inside of it, it needs to be re-set

OH thanks so much you gave me courage to open my psp once again and l took the analogue all apart and cleaned it and it's fixed now
