Actually, there is an easier cheaper way, simply get 2 normal HDDs and use RAID0.

How did you even managed to put the CPU on if the pins were bent? It's not supposed to go in... unless i7 is really that different from what I've worked with (core2 and AMD)...
And how was installing the heatsink and fan? I remember on my brother's old Intel machine the push pins were so retarded and hard to get down wee spent like 2 hrs on it, Zinga mentioned a similar experience too when he bought his computer.
Well, at least your computer didn't blow up on you. Mine did, literally, in the 1st few hrs of use.
