I am like ohhhhhh no-ing . My computer is not starting. Here is how it happened:
I wanted to add a batch template to the new menu (yes I knew about TweakUI), but it wouldn't do it. Now I think I know why. I added under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > .bat > ShellNew > FileName > C:\WINDOWS\SHELLNEW\BATCH.BAT - This is what I think caused the problem which is when I start it up all it does is show a blinking cursor. I need to know how to fix this and recover all my stuff - music, games, PSP themes (XMB+), school work - everything. I am like right now and wanting to die. Someone please help me.

EDIT: I looked online and it seems that usually in some manner you could access the command prompt and access the recovery console, but all I get is a blinking cursor.

EDIT2: Found that you can use utility disks but I am going to need a friend to help me burn a CD or learn how to use a flash drive.
