Just like how if a white dude calls a black AFRICAN AMERICAN dude a nigger he is called a racist yet black AFRICAN AMERICAN people use the term on each other all the time.

Not all black people call each other the "N Word" because not all black people come from the "'hood" and behave like "gangstas" and listen to "Rap music" where the word is used repetively.  SOME black people believe that the more you say a word the more power you take away from it and the less affect it will have.  Until someone from a different race turns around and uses that word, they get upset.  That's mainly because it was used in a negative way.  Just to walk up and call somebody the "N Word" is wrong (especially if they're black), just as it is wrong to walk up and call somebody a "meatbun" because they are gay.  Though if someone wasn't addressing someone as a meatbun directly I don't see why anybody should be offended by it.

Here's some examples.

"Wassup, my nigga?!" This form is used as a greeting.
"Nigger!"  That's just plain offensive...

"Dude quit being such a meatstick!" Um... Well that kind of sounds offensive...
"You're a meatbun!!" That's definitely an insult.

I guess it offensive to call someone a "meatbun" because you say as if it's a bad thing.  Just like when some gay people get offended if you say, "That is so gay..."
