That plus it means you get to stick it on your CV/resume. When you end up in an interview for a job or university application you can say you know that stuff but unless you actually have a piece of paper to prove it they won't listen. I thought about dropping IT A Level but I'm glad now that I didn't. The last few weeks of it were absolute hell, not because the work was difficult but becase there was so much of it. But I walked out of it with an A which has now gotten me 2 offers from 2 different universities without even going to an interview...
