Personally, I find uniqueness to be most attractive in a woman. As long as I don't feel I'd lose her in a crowd, or even if I think I could lose her in a crowd of similarly "beautiful" women. They need at least one defining feature, or else I subconsciously mark them as just part of the crowd. Zooey, for instance, has very very pretty eyes, and that'd be the unique, attractive feature that would interest me.  

As far as "hottest"? IDK, probably someone like Carmen Electra, Jennifer Garner  , or some other currently popular celebrity in America, or any of the hottest asian girls in the world could take the crown, and I wouldn't be disappointed.  I just wouldn't consider them the most attractive to me, personally (but wee weren't really asked about our preferences either way. There's another thread for that.).

I only realised recently that for some reason I like girls that have dark dyed red hair....almost brown but not.

Well obviously. A huge thing I look for is if they are willing to talk to me, because I am often deep in thought, and then want to talk to someone about something, or I'll have a revelation I want to talk about. If the girl is either not interested in sharing such things, or is incapable of keeping up (not trying to boast), then it will be a deal breaker.  Physical attraction more often than not is the first step to considering them as a partner.
