I disagree about "overrated". I am using my entire build with a CoolerMaster eXtreme 390W. Before this, I got a cheap-build 500W PSU and it blew up.... This one is holding pretty nicely (though, I;m not sure I can OC my graphics card.) Also, This is why I'd prefer going for a CoolerMaster cabinet....

I actually had a PSU blow up on me too, but that was a no-brand peice of shit that I don't know how I ended up with (back then I didn't build my own machine).  Currently using a 460W Coolermaster PSU that came with my case of the same brand.

I agree you shouldn't buy supercheap/no-brand PSUs, but imo any decently priced (not super cheap) PSU from any brand that is commonly heard of shouldn't break on you, don't really have to go for high end PSUs.

EDIT: Wait, I just did a search, and it seems your recommendation, the Coolermaster Extreme isn't actually the really expensive high end line, Coolermaster Real Power is.  Sorry, I thought it was from looking at it's name ("Extreme").
