Metal does not automatically = inaudible scream-o,. I love metal but I hate the inaudible side of metal myself.

Indeed, Stratovarius is one of my favourites but things like slipknot or the likes are pretty annoying after awhile

Eh, Metal is too general of a word to use in this case; i think scream-o works better on the stuff that annoys me.
