yeah there are always exceptions to relationships, if there is the love in that relationship between the two people.

and although there is the problem in buying her gifts, I like giving the gifts, its not like i was forced to do that or anything.

Relationships don't just work, you have to make them work, and even if the other person doesn't want to even try, you have to go above and beyond and do their job for them to make it work. In the end, people generally only care about themselves, but I do believe that there is someone out there for everyone. They may not be perfect, but it may be able to work.

P.S. Long distance relationships for the lose. Guys can handle it, but girls can't because they get too attached and lonely and are more likely to start doing spoon behind your back because they're thousands of miles away. Go find a nice girl who goes to your school or something, and if you end up getting together you'll be able to see each other all the time and release all the pent-up tension from never seeing the person you love.

I can't agree to the second part with long relationships, because like you said, "relationships don't work, you have to make them work." Its a two way connection between the guy and the girl and if the so called girl is not okay with you being so far away then the relationship was not meant to be. I have friends that are apart for most of the year and only get to see each other 3 times a year, but hell they have been together longer than I have been with mine.
