Chess is a great play once you've spent a good deal of time dedicated to getting better.

Just playing others is the best way other than reading the books, but losing so much hurts haha.

It took me a move to Ibiza where wee had no internet, no computer, just an amazing chess board in the place wee moved into and me and my sister played each other 2-3 times every single day (wee lived there for about 3 months). I beat my Dad once, after all that practice. I'll never forget that haha (my Dad, and my two elder brothers are much more experienced chess players than myself, who've put a lot more hours of practice and play into it than me. By the way I'm poo poo again now xD).
