So basically my contract with my cellphone company is about to expire

what that means is that im going to get it renewed with a NEW phone, currently im with rogers in Canada. My obvious choice straight off the bat was to get an iphone 3G S but im wondering if it's something i need to go about getting. I do have an ipod touch 2G currently atm so i was thinking of other phones to get, blackberries or anything similar.

So that's where i need some help, should i go get an iphone or buy another phone and not follow the Mac trend?
