Yeah, I've recently watched Blood:the last vampire here in our local cinema and as excited to view it in its first showing, because im really a fan of this anime movie that have been released in the past couple of years.

and here's my little review about this (some may contain spoilers)

My own rating 3 out of 5 stars

Story:
The story is almost the same as that what was released in the anime movie, but man, this movie is over 2hrs long, not unlike the anime which is only an hour to finished. It has almost all the elements of the anime movie in the firstpart, then some changes they inserted in the second half of the movie. I don't want to spoil you, but it has more flashback related to Saya's past and about her revenge.

Graphics:
Meh, the only downside of this is the cg bloods splaterring outside the dismembered demons, as it almost look like a fake blood (if you have watched onichambara live action movie in japan you almost get the same reaction to what the, a cg blood.. and the demon, meh its good but its look like more cg

Action Scenes:
Hell yeah, the action scenes in the movie is good since the action director of this movie is the director of the crouching tiger.. and a more past pace action. The fav action scene here is when saya kill almost all the demons in one village

Sounds:
there's a sound yes, but it has a good soundtrack i think, but not the best

maybe if rating about 5 stars maximum, i rate it only 3.0 for the fake bloods. But yeah it has more story than the anime movie, so no waste for my money watching it, and i love watching Gianna Jun playing the part of Saya, and she is talking straight english and japanese! (and speaking of japanese, it have some flashback scenes in japanese and it do not have subtitles :(, so i can't understand what they are talking about) oh well that's my little review, i think there might other film critics to bash this film, but still it is a good fan service for Blood fans.
