RE: The Touchscreen craze
Chroma Wrote:I have an iPhone, and personally, I really, really like the on-screen keyboard. I think it's the fact that you can just "put it away" as it were, to make room for other things onscreen, without adding any physical heft to the device. It makes the device really, really versatile for various uses. Plus, multi-touch control is just very intuitive, especially when designed as well as the iPhone, Pre, or Android. G1/G2And with the iPhone's keyboard and text correction, I can type loads faster than I ever could on a t9 number pad, which is what I used right before I got my iPhone.
Yeah... I can safely assume that this is going to develop into something more grand.

Also, the incompatibilty with previous games. Not to mention the fact that there are practically no third-party software for the PSP, which are recognised by SCE. Though I am pretty sure that they will directly compete with DS at some point in future by having touchscreen console.
Would be nice to touchscreen your way thru the XMB,. ;) an does't mean all games have to have touchscreen suport,.
If sony stayed with original 3000k model the could have added touchscreen suport easily!
EDIT: i recall seeing a touchscreen modded PSP !
Probably like the interface a few new SE phones have? However, I don't see the point of PSP being touch capable. But I guess its good to have options. However, I doubt a touch capable screen would be able to handle intense gaming.
