Yes, That.

Won't say that's wrong or right.. It depends on the Publisher/Developer. For instance, Square Enix games have a very complex story and awesome graphics. On the other hand, the NFS series, just progressed graphically...

Wii is fun only when you have company to play with. For instance, Wii Sports is awesome for killing time with buddies. But the Wii is just not that powerful to support advanced graphics while simultaneously having that unique controls system... about the same for DS.

In general, PS3 games tend to more Single player (or rather, FPS) oriented, which is just not possible (to be at par with the other console), currently on the Wii. Almost the same for PSP and maybe even the Xbox (which sucks even more).
Exactly! Games need entertaining gameplay and/or a story that keeps the player playing, if one or both of these conditions are met, a graphics level like the one on the DS is all that is needed. "Next Gen" is too graphics focused. And to reply to the original message, I think the DS has the highest entertaining value in terms of games compared to PSP, PS3 and 360.

I just hope that when wee reach true "real-life" graphics in a few years, the focus will be finally go back to gameplay since there isn't anything else to improve otherwise then,
