I think I read that one of the directors of Sun is a big shot in Google... though that doesn't necessarily mean it involves Sun... Apparently, it was this guy who gave the money needed to start Google and Sun Microsystems provided tech help in Google's formative years... (though what sort of help, it didn't mention..) I think it was in Chip magazine or PC World...
