With the sad news of Red Squirrel's retirement from the PSP scene, I thought I would post this.

Someone @ QJ posted it, and said RS had written it for him, but never bothered to release it.  It's called No UMD Plugin, and what it does, is allows you to keep a UMD in the drive, but the PSP will not recognize it is in the drive in vsh.  (Obviously if you want to launch the UMD, you would need to disable the plugin)  This is pretty handy for anyone who is familiar with the aggravation of accidentally launching UMD in the XMB, while trying to enter memory stick, or for anyone who is annoyed by the sound of the UMD spinning [reading] at PSP start up...
