Everything is better.
'cept Usability
Actually my efficiency in doing-what-I-want-to-do has incremented.
The favorites browsing bar on the left is exponentially useful and a dramatically large improvement over the previous Favorites implementations.
I have BSODed only twice - because of S4 Exiting, otherwise I have never, ever crashed - which automatically trumps XP because XP just couldn't handle the load I was giving it, obviously.
Vista.... For the win [When it turned SP1]
well truth be told, the total number of times I have BSODed must be less that 10 times. (XP, Mac, Linux, OpenBSD, Vista all included). 3 of them were during the last stages of Vista, when something went wrong and it would just keep freezing and BSODing.
However, Vista is a NO GO for heavy applications with only 2.5 GB RAM.
Plus when I was reinstalling Vista on Sunday, my DVD wouldnt work and I needed an OS so XP was the only sane choice (don't have Linux distros anymore)...
But I'll join you in cheering Vista after a month (when I get bored of XP and buy warhead! DX10 For the win!!)
*coughVistaSP1JuneBIEFTWcough*
I was doing video encoding through MeGUI/XviD4PSP while playing GRID and 3 mIRC clients, Mediamonkey .. blah blah
Anyway 3.0GB RAM = Good Days, even with this 1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo under the hood.
