so i was excited as wee all were about firmware 2.40 wit in game xmb and stuff.

i started updating and it took forever to download update so i left it for a while to download and when i came back the ps3 was off...
It had finished downloading but my dad turned it off before i could install it.

so the next day i looked and still firmware 2.36, so i went to update through internet and it says i have latest firmware installed.
I downloaded it once and it won't let me again so im in a bit of a pickle.
Has this happened to anyone before? Is there a workaround or do i have to wait for 2.41 or somethin?
