VLC has problems rendering them, and when MPC seems to play special donkey subs fine, no lag [Intel Core 2 1.5ghz] - even when multitasking,

I have this problem more often in MPC than in VLC xD

My results seems to support Zinga's case.

VLC takes a bit longer to pause. And on my old laptop, when skipping with VLC, it causes the whole video to muddle up, imagine mixing different colored paint together kind of effect, for something like 2-5 seconds before it fixes itself up. On my current computer, it's fine. And MPC is more efficient, referring to takes less system resorses to run. Recently i had this huge video 1920x1024, h.264, and it lagged a bit with VLC, but played fine with MPC (direct show).

And there are some other reasons why i prefer MPC. Such as when in full screen mode, to actually do anything, like pause the video in VLC, you have to revert back to normal, while you don't have to in MPC, clicking the progress bar in VLC doesn't go to the exact location like MPC does, and small things like that.
