Are they hacked firmwares / custom firmwares (m33) ?

  If you downloaded updates of sony or the official psp site that will not work with any dumper.

  Though if you are on custom firmware , press select change usb device to umd then exit that. Go to usb mode / usb connection and it will say game1990 or something similar , that it your game. Copy it and paste it to your pc :)
