Custom Interface and XMB

Hey dudes I want to customize my fonts and XMB at the same time with a new theme or just change it all together,does this require homebrew? my friend from work says he downloaded something that has multiple themes that will change the XMB for you and it also customizes the fonts and layout altogether.If you guys know of this tool please let me know so I can download it or change my options here.Thanks.
