As with sparker, I think, one big factor is posting/having a lot of stuff which could be classified by some people as "cute". In Western society, cute seems to get linked up with girls a lot.

The question which bothers me more is why does it matter so much?


I find it interesting - many people over the internet seem to try to want to build up a profile of the "invisible person" on the other end of the world.  This includes trying to know their age and gender.  I've had at least two dozen people ask me my age and gender - I find it really amusing :P


But anyways, "real" girls don't go as far as what some people do here...  so...  if that's your aim, turn it down a little :P
