How the hell do they make them?

How does Dark_Alex do it? I know he reverse engineers some files and probably loads more other things, but how does he do that? Just curious.

2, Use a disassembler to get the asm «- Easy
3, Use your knowledge of asm and C to rewrite the asm into C «- Really hard

It's a lot of trying to figure things out.

All the stuff you need is there, however, making sense of the code is difficult. A strong experience is what helps here. Strong knowledge in both high and low level languages are essential, as well as the compilation process (conversion from high level to low level). This assists in trying to reconstruct the high level code from the low level code you have.

You can think of it similar to hex editing. You have a bunch of data, but trying to make sense of it requires some thought (assuming you're not just trying to replace values).

My ASM knowledge is pretty bad, and I think I would take ages to interpret any ASM code (without comments).

%^^^^ lol yes like "anger" had an idee to add music to my slideshow in Sonic theme so i tried looking at the sysconfg prx file to see if it would be posible to add a link to a rco file with a .vag file so it would play that when starting the slideshow,.

Replacing a value ok, but trying to add something imposible,. imposible for me,.!!
