UncertainGod Wrote:Personally no, the slim is ugly compared to the fat. Plus it doesn't seen built that way. The current fat I have at the moment gets dropped weekly and still works fine, a friend dropped his slim at mine last Tuesday and broke it.
I guess that it feels as cheap as it really is...

RE: PSP Slim
So you want to be seen with a piece of cheap plastic in your hands?
I don't get that, the original PSP looks great, the slim looks like something Nintendo would have built.

RE: PSP Slim
I've had a PSP since July 2005, and when the slim came out I thought it was the perfect time for a modest change.
I still have my phat, but I hardly ever use it... The slim is more power efficeint, and I keep the extended life phat battery in it with no cover on the back.
It fits in there pretty snug and I have had no problems with it.... double the battery life on the go. The unit is still lighter, and I just stuff it in my pocket with no case. You can barely notice it.
ISO's work good as ever, so does POPS, and I have just went along with all 3.xx kernel homebrew, such as;
Picodrive, Daedalus r13, Snes9x ME by Chilly, Nester J v1.11, gPSP v0.9, filer v4.31, ir shell v3.81, PSP Radio, PSP Tube, PSP Write, Doom, SnakeSP, .. so on.... everything you need.
PSP slim is an upgrade guys...:wink2: don't be afraid of it.
R.i.p 1.50 kernel.
