Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

guys i need some help, when ever i close down ares or utorrent (right click and exit) the process still hangs about in task manager and because of this my internet goes slow (cause of the uploading and the what not) is there a way to forcefully close it

In Task Manger, go to Processes, select utorrent or whatever and end the process.

i waited for 2 hours its still not gone and i need to access my school account through the school website to get my coursework

could take long time,.. maybe the client is checking files because you closed the the client the wrong way before,.
Then again maybe its just stuck,. but i know i had to wait for a long time before finally close the program,.

no i don't think u understand(don't mean to sound rude) but i have fully closed the program but task manager says its still open and i can tell its still open cause its slowing down my net

wow that weird. . . sound like the PC's I have in school. . . the process stays there but I have always just end processed the process and it disappears . . .so that is weird/

If your on vista then your not the only one as this kept happening to a friend of mine. In the end it was poo poo like this and not being able to use umd tools etc that made him get rid of it.

That's what i mean,.. you have to wait for it to stop in task manager,.

happens on xp and vista,..
