I'm not too sure what's exactly causing the problems, but I've done a few changes - let's see if this works.

its totally random for me and it is still happening. i removed all my subscriptions and i re-added them and it still happens. i can't tell when there coming in but i have had single blank ones on there own with no other message notification.

I know it's something to do with the AJAX quick reply, but I can't figure out why it's doing it...

hmm if i stop quick reply then will they stop?

Well, nah, this script was written by me, and I kinda somehow broke MyBB's auto-email notification procedure :S
I really can't figure out why though...  Well, I'm not even certain what's causing it...

np. im not getting blanks now just duplicates but that's better than the blanks. :P
its probably something really stupidly simple like a misplaced semi colon or something, but anyway like i said a dupe of an email is better than tonnes of blank ones. whatever you did after my last post seems to have at least temporarily fixed it.
