Forum Systems - what do you like or dislike?
Well, since you're reading this, you've probably had some experience with MyBB :P
But are there any particular other features, which another forum system, or just another forum has that you like?

For example, what would be your favourite forum system for the following points?
  • Design
  • Features
  • Ease of use
  • Administration?

I love my Gloss 1.2 theme for EP, very easy to use.

Th only thing i can recommend is to add a "view my profile" next to private messages on the forum page. I remember when i first joined it took me some time to fin my profile page ;)

umm?

improved shoutbox

this other site im on has a taller shoutbox
also on there shoutbox beside post button there were 2 different buttons
clicking the frst one made a popup box containing all the  smilies
the second gave a popup boxe containing the bb codes

also this site had te option for 100 points (11 posts) to buy an item that would let you upload your own smily     too bad it didnt work at all and was a dud

that's all i want EP's perfect with that

oh and a graphics tutorials sub section

Sorry, I was referring to other forum systems, like SMF, vBulletin, phpBB etc.

Hmm, will make the menu bar at top a little too messy IMO.  You can click your own name to see your profile.  I don't exactly see why you'd want to check out your own profile very often though :P

The shoutbox is really just that, a shoutbox.  It's not particularly meant to be a fully fledged chat client...

So layout and design?  Hmm, okay, I'll think about it.
vBulletin just requires a hefty license fee...
