As soon as I get my second battery I can finally try to mod my homescreen^^
This is just freaking awesome!

Just one thing, is it possible to test the Magic Battery and MS without starting the actual flashing process?

Oh and by the way...... Sony..... you have lost and got OWNED! (especially if this will suddenly work on the Slim PSP^^)

Except possibly the PSP Slim. It may or may not take a while to use this to create a downgrader that will bypass the new 'protections' that will be in place. downgrading to 1.50 could cause a brick. And unless you can use this to re-upgrade to current firmware, that'd be an unfixable brick.

Though considering the whole idstorage thing with TA-082/086s, which eventually unlocked downgrading for those motherboards... with the Pandora, a downgrader for slim should eventually be possible.

this may work on the PSPSlim, as Sony will, by now, have finalised designs
Its too late to mod the PSPSlim, so wee'll just have to wait and see

RE: PSP un-bricker/Downgrader [PANDORA]
^ Thus why I said "possibly".

Sony has supposedly put more protections in place against downgrading though. And while in the planning stages, too. I'm thinking similar to what they did with TA-082/086s.

What do you base that on?

It may be as simple as changing a few lines of code to make sure that Service Mode is inaccessible.

But I do hope they for whatever reason can't patch it in time.
