Also, I'm not sure if you can figure out how to force it to freeze in the BIOS, but if you can, disconnect everything but the bare essentials and see if the issue still occurs.
That is, unplug everything from the motherboard except power, CPU+HSF, one stick of RAM and GPU (if you don't have integrated graphics available).  The only things that should be plugged into the computer would be power, keyboard and monitor.

RE: Ye PC of Build 1 is dying
i was going to pull it apart and test that. although i had a look in the bios first and...

that 3.3v section of the PSU seems very low, could that be causing the shutdowns and such?

wait i get 3.1v in windows, also I cleaned out the GPU with an air can and havent seen any issue just yet. will try to keep an eye on it

just ran some known high graphics pushing games to test out the stableness of the system... besides from the 62c max heat (i dunno how long it stayed this high but it didnt shut off on me)

RE: Ye PC of Build 1 is dying
so after multiple tests, i havent had an issue with the system.

although I'm going ahead with part replacement on the PSU and Graphics card. even though both work fine right now, i just want to clean up the interior of my PC and increase airflow

so I'm thinking on the lines of these: (once again using Mem Express as they are local)
