So I've made little threads in the past asking for anime suggestions, but now I figured I'd make one official thread to return to and bump when I need more suggestions...

Tags I usually like: Action, Gunfights, Military, Ecchi (particularly pantsu but this tag can be omitted as the plot often suffers for it), Romance

I also usually like darker styled anime. Not so big on the sunshine and rainbows everyone is friends unless the anime is really really good.

Also, I'm always open to suggestions. If you think there is some super good life changing anime you'd recommend to anybody, I'm more than willing to download and at least try to watch it.

NHK ni Youkosou/Welcome to NHK

Mainly it's entertaining as a comedy and there are also ecchi in few episodes. But the main plot is kinda drama with a lot of social-cultural-psychological aspect involved. It was very inspiring to me.
*comedy would be enjoyable if you know a lot about otaku culture

Umineko no Naku Koro ni

since you like dark theme, maybe this could be likeable.
it's about serial murder in a private island done by a witch. lots of blood, lots of killing. cases would repeating itself for couple times in similar way, although they are actually different.
*don't watch if you get bored easily.

i cried a lot watching this... used ~14 sheets tissue if I recall correctly lol

good romance.. heartwarming plot with a few fiction added to make things more complex
most ppl say it's similar to onegai teacher although i like this a lot more

maybe the most realistic robot wars among all gundam show out there. no OP robot, pure strategy and pilot skill.

superb remake of old anime, evangelion. very dark and mindf*cking with cool battle effects.
