As I haven't played the game, I may look into it, but I have a feeling that these achievements will be tied to social networking? which will be a no-no for me.
Doesn't seem to be a mention of what the achievements actually are either.  Probably nothing terribly great, like 'killed enemy with one hit' or similar.  Would be interesting if they covered play styles, like 'finished game with average party level below 8'.

I was thinking completely remade graphics more like that of Advent Children level, rather than slightly sharper "high resolution" of the same old graphics.

You can install better texture patches, too. The FF7 modding community was rather large at one point. Team Laughing Man released a graphically revamped version years ago but now I don't know where to find it.

If they were going to add new dungeons, bosses or characters, they would've made them DLC instead.
