Google translate plugin
Here it is i present you the unexisting Goggle Translte PLugin in my FF10.

I don't have a clue how this is happening at all. I checked goggl for answers and i didnt find nothing about it. I see it pop up everytime i go to some diferent language website.
And i can asure you all its not in the plugins of Mozilla , its not installed at all on FF.
I hate literaly this plugin , its awful and looks like a pop-up from the olmighty goggl.
Thanks G for you scrapware.

Any ideas how i could get rid of this ?

RE: Google translate plugin
Have you tried starting Firefox in safe mode?
I presume it's only Firefox and not other browsers?

RE: Google translate plugin
I don't have other browsers , only FF installed.
I will try it in safemode to see what's happening.

Edit: i understand now , i have chrome on the machine wich come with the AV program , using it like safe zone.
For what i saw its a minimum set of chrome used in some sand zone or something like this.
And it has the plugin Translate , but yet why it affects FF?

RE: Google translate plugin
Chrome and Chrome plug-ins shouldn't have anything to do with Firefox.

I don't recall anything being bundled with Chrome so I don't think that's it.

Did you try Safe Mode like Zinga said - that should disable anything extra from running.

RE: Google translate plugin
Translate is built into Chrome. Mozilla might have added it to Firefox too. I've discovered that it has a developer mode like on Opera too.

RE: Google translate plugin
If Mozilla implement it it will be really bad for me , it will pull me back and not installing FF anymore.

RE: Google translate plugin
Do you have a Google Toolbar installed?  If so uninstall that, in case it's what's causing it.  You don't need it anyway.

No i didnt install nothing from Ggl , since i got back on win XP. Might be some preinstalled toolbar.
But also i don't think it will affect FF.

That's what is the strangest , why it would affect FF. No i don't see it in extesions.

Anyway its not so big problem thought.

RE: Google translate plugin
Mozilla is probably the least likely browser to bundle crapware.
If you're doubting a plugin, could be spyware of some sorts.

That's worrying, Chrome doesn't come with any AV whatsoever.  You sure this is a legit install?
