Yukiteru always rejected any offers to go with friends and just keeps writing a diary on his cell phone. He has what he believes is an imaginary friend called Deus Ex Machina. However, one day Deus asks him to play a survival game along with eleven others. The winner becomes the next Deus Ex Machina. In order to win, the contestants must use their diaries of the future to eliminate one another. For Yukiteru to survive, he must team up with another diary holder, a girl named Yuno.

Wait... Rating is like 8.38, 3rd highest this season behind Fate/Zero and Chihayafuru. So probably pretty good.

Episode 6 [SPOILERS AHEAD]

Well well.. wee sure got our fill of the tastiest yandere since Ryuuguu Rena! Have to say I love the way she's developing - and feel moderately sorry for Yukki - it can't be easy to fall in love with a total psychopath who happens to be very cute and love you to bits (no pun intended) to the extent wee've seen. Still hate his wimpiness but my sister insists it's reasonable considering his situation. Eheh.

Of course at the end wee were introduced to a young boy supposedly involved with the Sacred Eye incident (whose true intention is given away by the silhouettes in the ED) ... well ... blood will most likely be spilt in the next episode.

Can't wait.

Dunno about you but I wasn't focusing on the flaws in the behaviours, or other details... I think it's overall entertaining. Makes me want every following episode so it must be doing something right.

So I read about it in GotWoot's site.

I can agree with what 8thsin says about the MC being spineless, it's one of the things that I don't like about the show, reminds of Deadman Wonderland's MC and that anime was average at best.
