Yes, I'm an idiot! I got those home screen mods from a dude on Maxconsole. They're really cool. However, I had a red one (kn) and a blue one (kd). I wanted to switch them around, so I did. But I did it the lazy man's way, and now my recovery is gone. Dunno if I can play games, but I can't get to recovery, not even thru the eboot.

Anyone know what I can do? Or am I just screwed?

Can you get to the xmb? What firmware are you on? If you can, put the update on your memstick and run it, it should replace everything.

Nah, I tried running the update. Since I switched home screens, homebrew won't launch either. UMDs will and possible Isos. I haven't tried. I'm on 3.52 M33. And yes - every now and again, I can get to the xmb.

If you can play homebrew and games from your xmb now and then, you should be able to run a recovery app.

: ( I can't launch homebrew. I tried the ol' swaploit trick, putting the 3.03 OE-C recovery eboot on two memsticks, but it won't work. Heck, since Isos run, I even tried compiling an Iso with the recovery eboot. Used the param.sfo to direct it, and used the DATA.PSP for it to read and hopefully launch it that way. That didn't work either. Thank you all for trying to help me though... I guess I'm not completely out. Man, if someone could write me the M33 3.52 update to a UMD, I'd be set! (it will read UMDs)

if you can get into xmb, maybe you can reflash 352 m33 if you can get to the memstick that is, there isn't anyway it can be written, nobody has a writer to write to umd disk's except sony and the game developers

I can't reflash. I can get into xmb just fine, but for some reason the PSP won't launch homebrews at all. Only Isos and UMDs. I know, I was just wishing about the UMD being written with M33 on it. : | *sigh*

ok srsly you guys, what's going on, I've been seeing ppl brick left and right everywhere lately, what's up with that? I'm sorry i can't help dude, i stopped psp flashing when oe was discontinued (also after it started to get more complex i slowed down my pace)

if homebrew works. use usbsss . . it lets you access flash and all you need to do it fix the problem.
