This and Metal Gear Solid 4 are about the only reasons I would ever consider a PS3

Most people i know say they get a PS3 for either MGS4 or FFXIII.


Meh, no game will be able to swing me into buying a PS3. If I ever buy a PS3 (which probably won't happen), the only reason will be to sell it for more.

I have no real interest in FFXIII really. Square Enix are just whoring the franchise so I'm sick of it. The only Final Fantasy games I ever liked anyway where FF1, 3, 5 and Tactics anyway.

I can understand MGS4 though =P

Yeah, I'm a Konami fanboy plus even if I didn't want it Sparker would go and beg me to grab it anyway >_>

Most people seem to like 7 and 10 the best.

I know a guy back then in my high school who bought 4 copies of Advent Children. Big fan of FF. He has all the FF, and probably have played each one through many times.

6 was the 1st one I played, on SNES emulator (FF6 = FF3 in America), and the one i liked the best, maybe cause it's one of the 1st RPGs I played. Didn't like 5 and 4 as much (thought Tales of Phantasia was better >_>).

I never played the first or second. Never played 10 either. My computer can't run PS2 at full speed yet, and i didn't think it worth it to play if it's not full speed. Never played 11. Got tactics in my massive PSX pile (of downloaded CD images), never played either it though. Played the GBA version of tactics though.

I am no Final Fantasy fan. Both games are ludicrously overrated for no good reason. FF10 tries to actually have a good plot for once but ends up backfiring. FF7 had a pretty bad cast and slow gameplay and is just over hyped by the fact its the first 3D RPG. Its not a bad game but its not a good one either.

I was in a conversation once (back in high school), and some FF fans attacked me and completely pushed me out of the conversation because I said I hacked then save state for FF7.

They were on about some poo poo like how good the game was, how someone would want to hack the saves, how that's just the dumbest thing one can every do and it completely screws up the fun, and how that's just lame, and all that poo poo. ... ... I actually only hacked it to rip Ruby and Emerald, cause I'm not the kind of person to bother training for days to level up and do it the normal way... but that's not important to them. What was important was that i did something Square didn't intend me to do.

Just by listening, u can determine that they are full serious about the game. They talked with full emotion and everything. And one of them went on for 10 minutes about how sorry they felt for one of the game characters... (dude, it's a fictional game character)

There's huge Star Wars fans back in high School as well, and their pretty freaky too. One of them waited I think a whole night at the theater just to get to watch it at release the next morning, and she was proud about it, and telling everyone.
