I don't think they've ever gone past two in the minor updates. Remember? After 1.52 it went to 2.0, after 2.72 it went to 2.80, after 2.82 it went to 3.0, etc, etc, etc.

If I were M33, I'd just use 3.52 to patch the pops module and call it 3.51 M33-8. I mean, 3.60 is coming out soon enough. Why bother calling it the same version as Sony's?

Also, FF8 does not crash if you use a different ID in popstation. lemme find a link to the thread.

apparently, using SLPS01222 for FF8's game ID fixes it. I haven't had time to test this.

No, I distinctly remember updating my PSP to 2.72 the day it came out. Yes, back then I was an idiot.

EDIT: Oh, I think you're right. I couldn't find 2.72 anywhere. I guess I was thinking of 2.82 .

And I've decided to revise my original statement. Sony has never gone past 3 in the incremental updates, so it's unlikely wee'll see a 3.54-59
