Why bigger is not always better
so I bought this 32 gig combine two sd cards into one memory stick for psp thing
http://www.amazon.com/microSD-microSDHC-...B0048GRH4Y

and it's so large my psp actually seems to lag when disconnecting it from the computer. It also seems to hang just a bit when opening the games or video folder. I assume this is because the card is so big, not because the card has any actual problems.

so has anyone ever experienced a similar issue? (using a psp-1000 like one of the first models ever made)

if so I guess this means bigger is not always better lol

but with a bunch of anime, a bunch of psx games a load of ISO's and still 15 gb of free space It's a minor set back. I'm still quite happy :3

Micro sd cards have markings on them to show speed kindof like the mark2 or HIGH SPEED memory stics you find normally.

i think micro sd class levels go out to 10
here are some examples:

Would it be the fact that the PSP only supports FAT file systems?

RE: Why bigger is not always better
Why would that have an effect? oo
the card is in the right format and works fine
it just causes the system to hang

FAT doesn't like large memory. That's why you can't transfer anything larger than 4 GB to your stick.
