nope,. its for digital comics,.. anyway i am almost 100% sure it can't be disabled,.

whatev, ctftoolgui can't convert my theme anyways.. it's too old lol

extras category only owned by several regions which have several extra services
so you can disable it by using fake region and then choose any region which has no extra services. ex : hongkong, taiwan, singapore, rusia, etc.
or if your psp is actually from thoose regions, your psp won't get "extras" icon by default

*for setting fake region, if you're on PRO CFW, you can go to recovery menu > configuration > Fake Region > [china for example]
