oh yeah that.
though i have my doubts, one of the coolest thing about PW series is the uniqueness of the characters lead to humor and stuffs, but the characters here are built in Layton style. so....

Yeah, I remember reading this on Wired. But yeah, this is what happens when you try to over hype a gimmick and release it with a limited and very unremarkable selection of games. Also, lets not forget the fact it's not region free.

Pokemon Black is more the same only with an actual plot in it. The experience is pretty short lived though, the game seems to be shorter than the others.

I finally got some hands on experience with it at a mall yesterday and sadly the 3D is pretty weak. It just feels like gimmick to me :/

also i don't know if it's me wearing glasses or not, but i have to keep the 3DS at the same place if i want a steady image. mean shaky hand and moving around is not an option.
so meh, I'll probably get one like i did with the DS, for the inferior number of 3rd parties games that is worth playing (and most of em would work better on another console).

I don't think it's just you - this point was brought up in the Kotaku review too.

I'm waiting for the price to go down. By that time more games should be released, and any game that would be released this year (that I would want) should be cheaper by then as well.

As for the 3D aspect of it, I could care less about it. For now, the only game I want to play is Pokemon Black and White, and I can play that on my NDS Lite.

The only thing that interests me about it is the MGS3 remake coming to it. Otherwise I couldn't care less, having it in 3D isn't a selling point for me and I don't see it making my gaming experience any better. Like sparker I forgot that it was already released and in my country.
