It was made deliberately underpowered, though there are people who did make use of it (example, various research institutions). I'd also say a number of hobbyists found it useful for number crunching too. Of course, the primary target audience of gamers mostly don't care about Linux.

RE: Sony sued for PlayStation Network data breach
Well spoon. I really hope this is all sorted out soon. Im one of those people who might have potentially had there credit card info 'borrowed' and I would really like it if Sony can get things back under control.
The situation is dire.

RE: Sony sued for PlayStation Network data breach
So who can I contact to join the class action lawsuit ?
My personal, and possibly credit card data has been compromised, and I would also like to sue..
And no - I'm not kidding. I'm serious.

Actually your first thing to do is cancel your card or similar measures.
Next, have you lost anything else otherwise? Because if not, there's nothing for you to gain in the lawsuit. And if you haven't lost much, there's not much for you to gain.
Quote:The lawsuit is asking for monetary compensation and free credit card monitoring
... so that's the most you could ever get out of this.
Whether you really think that's worth all your time, money and effort is for you to judge however...
Personally, I wouldn't bother.
