Well, I happen to be one of those people who went in expecting a cute typical mahou shojou anime. But it's still a good anime anyway so I don't care that I was misleaded.

Okay, if Shinbo/SHAFT got Madoka delayed on purpose - credit to them. Well played. You'll have to watch it all to know why... and you should.
For now, it's 8.5 for me, but as I have to have whole on MAL - 9/10. For now.
I will be watching the BluRay version of PMMM because it'll be worth watching. It's been a breath of fresh air for production and clever execution - and for once evil seemed like evil again.
It requires thinking in order for the story to unveil itself - and the fact it was able to create such a story as grand as this within 12 episodes has to be noticed.
My anime of the season? I'm not sure. Kimi ni Todoke 2nd is really good, and arguably more consistant compared to PMMM.
But Puella Magi Madoka Magica really did stand out from anything else at it's best - it really did.

It set the groundwork for what was to come though. I went through the main bits of Ep9 again, then watched Ep11 and at that point Episode 12 did feel like the final episode...

I've found the ending of Madoka a bit rush, im expecting it would like an "End of Evangelion" ending, but still good ending, hope more kind of this anime come out soon

Finished Madoka. Though unexpected for a Magical Girl anime, I still enjoyed it plenty.

For anyone who has finished Madoka (think it didn't wrap up/was rushed) - check this out as it does a good job of clarifying some important points...
