Ended up dropping it =_=

Yup it was one of the better made titles of the season. The best bit of the season? There are many choice moments in Kimi ni Todoke but Wandering Son/Hourou Musuko...
Spoiler for Don't watch if you intend watching it all soon:
RE: Winter 2011 Anime Line-up (Updated with Infos)
Felt like doing this for interest's sake.
This is my first ever piano adaption, so it's probably poo poo. Some parts of it I don't like myself.
Might try playing it once I get around to recording stuff, but might change some of the parts I don't like or would take too much effort to master.

If anyone wants the shit music to study/laugh/criticise, here it is (PDF and MusicXML formats):
Sounds alright, though there's a significant change in tempo like 1/2 way across which felt quite weird to me (very very evident in the midi version). But I'm not really familiar with the original (Only heard it like 3 times or something), so I don't really know if it's also in the original or not.
Oh by the way (you most likely already know this), the easiest way to do this kind of thing is to download the OP/ED singles for whatever song you're trying to transcribe, and do it off the instrumental track without vocals. Just in case you're trying to do it off the TV anime or something.

The speed changes are somewhat of an experiment. Original doesn't change speed and is rather fast throughout (around 175bpm; fastest section of my version is 160bpm, but it starts at 110bpm and gets faster).
Or if you're talking about the change of the harmony where it sounds a bit more broken, I'm not too sure what to do with that. You can't change volume in MIDI, but I'm hoping that I can use volume to mask some of that.

Maybe if you're trying to copy the harmony, otherwise no. I didn't do that. I copied the melody then filled in the harmony (based on the melody). As such it might be a bit different, but as it harmonises, it should sound okay - besides, a piano adoption will always change it in some way anyway.

The change is very visible err audible.

10/10
Ok, I'm moving this up a bit in my hypothetical to-watch list.
Also, back to the question which led to over 80 posts of semi-trolling...
Quote:Someone just told me that Madoka Magica was written by Gen Urobuchi, the guy who wrote stuff like Phantom of the Inferno, Saya no Uta and Kikokugai. So tell me, is this show screwed up like Saya and Kikokugai?

So if Saya no Uta is like school girls being cute and falling in love. Then Madoka is totally about 5 best friends who team up with each other to fight evil that threatens their homes.
