How do I tell how much resource space is left?
Okay so here's my question. Say I'm making a theme and I want to add 30 high res backgrounds to it but the icons are already very large in size would i just have to add dummy images (1x1 pixel images) into most of the other resources to get to see everything I have made? I guess my question is what's the max amount of resource in KB or MB that the PSP will allow? If I have this information I can start releasing some of my themes on here because I can't seem to add everything I want all into one CTF. And what I mean by everything is...
1) 30 high res backgrounds
2) 64 x 48 Category icons
48 x 48 First Level icons
(Included in topmenu_icon.rco)
All glory comes from daring to begin.

RE: How do I tell how much resource space is left?
30 high res backgrounds + 8x 480x16 main icons works fine,..
i am skipping the 01-12 high res picture's because you can now add the classic OR the original wave infront of the "set wallpaper" background,.. (so make 2 releases 1 wit classic wave and 1 with original wave infront of the "set wallpaper"
also i try to start with very few resources and try to stay very low with resources,. so i have space completing the theme,..
also if you use rcomage you can delete all not-used icon entry's in the topmenu_icon.rco so you don't ahve to add 1x1 dummy's,.. ;)
try when possible to add as many 8bit images as you can,. 32bit is resource drain,... (make sure to set the 32bit check option in rcoedit options,..
